MatchTrial offers several advantages to easily refer the patient to the most appropriate trial:

◉ HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN AN ONCOLOGY OR HAEMATOLOGY CLINICAL TRIAL FOR CANCER DIAGNOSIS?
The app will show the patient or family member a list of trials with the highest affinity percentage once they enter their diagnosis, so that the user can select the trial that best suits them based on their location or other criteria.
The patient must register and answer a questionnaire about their cancer diagnosis, stage of cancer and other information. A list of oncology and haematology treatments and experimental trials in oncology medicine and cancer will then be displayed according to the search parameters used.
Once the patient has chosen the experimental cancer medicine trial he/she wants to join, he/she will be offered several dates to visit the chosen centre. After the first visit, the specialist doctor will decide whether or not the patient is eligible to take part in the trial and thus obtain his or her cancer diagnosis.
*The patient can refuse to participate in a trial even if he/she is accepted by the centre and the specialist oncologist.
◉ HOW CAN I FILTER CLINICAL TRIALS?
We offer several filters to easily apply for a cancer clinical trial.
- City: The user can select the city or cities in which there are centres to access the cancer clinical trial.
- Hospital: The user can select the hospitals in Spain where the patient wants to participate in a cancer clinical trial.
- Sponsor: The user can view the clinical trials available for a specific sponsor.
